COVID-19 Update: January 21, 2022

COVID and Fertility - super quick update

A study came out yesterday looking at the vaccine and any possible impacts on fertility. You can read about it here or here. What they found is that the vaccine has NO impact on fertility. Women who were vaccinated did not have any issues getting pregnant compared to women who were not vaccinated.

HOWEVER, they also found that men who had COVID were 18% less likely to impregnate a woman if the man had covid within 60 days of the woman's menstrual cycle. That was not related to the vaccine - but to actually getting COVID. Probably a year ago we talked about the fact that Covid had an impact on the testes, so this is not completely shocking, but worth knowing.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Today is a new day, so let's start fresh. Forget that you may or may not have put your underwear on inside out and backward yesterday because you were trying to dress in the dark. That was yesterday. Today is a day of promise and new beginnings. And....it's Friday - so there's that. Have a great weekend.

Ginger, I wonder if you've considered going back into your posts to collect all your final thoughts and put them into an inspirational book! I can't begin to tell you how many times those final thoughts have lifted my day and shifted my perspective for the positive. Of course the science updates have been helpful beyond what I can say, but today your inspiration made my day, as have many of them. You are an amazing writer. Thank you again.
